Good morning everyone, Danville Schools will be on a two hour delay today. We will keep the normal Wednesday early release time of 2:00, which we know might seem odd, but we think it helps minimize the changes in routines for families, allows us to still count the day/hours of school, and keeps us on track with our staff professional development plans and after school activities. We will keep monitoring the situation and if anything changes will update everyone.

THE HS basketball games scheduled for Saturday 1/14/23 at Danville will be played as follows: JVB starting at 1PM (2qtrs) followed by VB followed by the Hall of fame introduction followed by JVG (2 qtrs)followed by VG . All games will be played in the HS GYM.
THE JH BOYS BASKETBALL GAMES TONIGHT 1/12/23 WILL BE PLAYED IN WEST POINT.
There will be a Booster Club meeting Wed. Jan 11 at 6pm in HS commons, all are welcome!
The format for Saturday 1/14/23 is as follows: At Danville vs HLV
JVB (2 qtr) start at 1pm followed by VB
followed by Induction of Hall of Fame
followed by JVG (2qtr) start after HOF induction (EST 3:30-4PM) followed by VG
Everything is in HS GYM.
The elementary Christmas concert will be MONDAY, January 30. Times are 6:00 for grades k-1, 6:45 for grades 2-3, and 7:30 for grades 4, 5, 6in the JH GYM.
JH Boys Basketball Practice will start on January 3 after school at 3:45pm in the JH Gym. There will be a parent meeting at 6pm for the boys going out in room 121 across from the athletic directors office.

JH Boys basketball will have open gyms on December 27,28,29 from 9am-11am in the JH Gym. JH boys basketball will start practice on January 3 (3:30-5:30) with a parent meeting to follow at 6pm in room 121.

Our teachers and staff had a gingerbread house competition afterschool yesterday (check our Facebook page for pictures of the gingerbread houses) and we need you and your students' help in determining the winner! We will decide the winner by doing a Penny War vote for the favorite. The rules for the Penny War are in the flyer that is attached to this email. The winning gingerbread house staff team will then be able to take all the money raised through the penny war and donate it to a charity of their choice. As the holiday season approaches we wanted our district to give back and thought this would be a fun way to do so. Take a look at the gingerbread houses and send in your votes between now and Tuesday, December 20th.

The girls JH basketball games on Thursday December 15 will be played At HARMONY HS vs Van Buren starting at 4:30pm.
The HS Basketball games this SATURDAY 12/17 will be played in the LM HS GYM at the following times JVG starting at 2pm followed by JVB followed by VG followed by VB.
The junior varsity Girls and Boys games on Monday 12/12 are cancelled for tonight vs Van Buren. The Varsity girls and Varsity boys will host Van Buren Tuesday 12/13.
