3 YEAR OLD PRESCHOOL

CURRICULUM

Our 3 year old preschool class uses Creative Curriculum. The classroom is divided into nine interest areas; blocks, dramatic play, toys & games, art, library, discovery, sand & water, music, and computers. Preschool students have their own outdoor playground area. Students are assessed three times per year and parent-teacher conferences are conducted in the fall and the spring.

PRESCHOOL INFORMATION

Three-year-old class meets twice a week. The main focus of this class is socialization, getting along with others, and resolving peer conflicts. Students are introduced to the capital letters using the Handwriting Without Tears and Jolly Phonics programs. The class follows a daily schedule in order to establish school routines and prepare students to learn. Students are provided activities that focus on shapes, counting, colors, and nursery rhymes. The maximum class size is 16 students.

A monthly tuition fee of $130.00 is due at the beginning of each month.

NOTICE:

Beginning May 30th, 2025, we will be restructuring our early childhood program. This will include eliminating the infant and toddler care settings. We know this will impact some of our families significantly, and we want to express our heartfelt sympathy and understanding.

However, there is also positive news to share. As part of this restructuring, we are expanding and enhancing our preschool offerings. Our 3-year-old preschool program will grow from meeting two half-days per week to four half-days per week—similar to our current model for 4-year-old preschool. This change will provide our youngest learners with more consistency and stronger preparation for the school years ahead.

Additionally, we are pursuing external partnerships to continue offering summer programming, before/after school care, and complement daycare programs to our preschool half day programs. There are some promising leads, and we will be sure to update everyone when things are finalized.
